My grandmother has been telling me the same thing for my entire life. She has always stressed the importance of having great life insurance coverage and that I should always have a current life insurance quotes. She didn’t think that this was morbid, although everyone else in the family did. I knew that she was doing this advance planning to save all of us trouble and strife upon the eventuality of her death. It did sound a little creepy when she put it like that but then I remembered the debacle that all of my friends had to go through when they had deaths in their families. We wanted grandma to live forever, but that was probably not going to happen. She was just looking out for us by being prepared. I would love to have her outlive me, but she’s made sure I have life insurance just in case that happens.
